Channon Street Medical Centre is not a bulk billing practice. The Doctor decides the appropriate fee to be charged for each consultation or procedure. The Medicare rebate can be processed immediately from our office.

Availability of your Doctor will vary depending on their workload. Our reception staff will always attempt to accommodate you with another doctor if available.

Please ask Reception for information on all current fees and charges.

We accept EFTPOS and cash.

There are many services which do not attract Medicare rebates, and Medicare does not cover the cost of disposable items, vaccines or specialised equipment used in procedures and treatments.

Dehydration occurs when you don't have enough fluids in your body. Severe dehydration can cause serious problems. It's especially important for children and older people to drink enough water. 🚰

Symptoms of dehydration include:
- be thirsty
- have a dry mouth, lips and tongue
- be dizzy or light-headed, particularly when standing up
- have a headache
- have dark urine (wee) and not so much wee as normal

It is recommended for females to have 8 cups of water per day and for males 10 cups of water. 💦
